The passage of the universe through the stage of smoke (helium and hydrogen with a little lithium) that prevailed before the emergence of stars and galaxies has been interpreted as being related to the meaning of the verse: “Then He turned toward the sky while it was smoke, and said to it and to the earth, ‘Come, willingly or by compulsion.’ They said, Obedient figs 11﴾ [Fussilat: 11 ].
The collapse of the universe

Water and life
The above Qur’anic verse included another scientific fact that does not need clarification, which is that liquid water is an important and essential thing for the existence of life on planet Earth. There is currently no liquid on Earth that is suitable for being a suitable medium for vital interactions in the body of living things other than water. One researcher has discovered that some Microorganisms such as bacteria can live without air for a period of time, but they cannot do without water at all, as the verse indicates that before humans knew this, even though the verse refers to two scientific facts. This is in accordance with the Almighty’s saying: (And We made from water every living thing. Was it not? They believe (verse 30 of Surat Al-Anbiya).
Fertilization and blood in tissue anatomy
After the progress of science and the discovery of how milk is formed in cattle, researchers found that digestive enzymes transform food into droppings that travel in the small intestine, where the blood veins – the villi – absorb the dissolved nutrients from between the droppings, so the food circulates in the blood, until it reaches the mammary glands, and there the mammary glands absorb them. The milky substances from which the milk will be formed from among the blood, so the milk is formed, which was brought out from between the dung first, and from between the blood secondly, and that is an explicit text that is spoken by the verse in the Qur’an: “And indeed in the livestock there is a lesson for you. We give you to drink from what is in their bellies, from between the dung and the blood, pure milk.” It’s okay For those who drink (66) (An-Nahl: 66)
Low oxygen levels when climbing up into the sky
After man was able to reach the sky by flying using modern means of transportation, it was known that the higher one rises in the atmosphere, the lower the oxygen and atmospheric pressure, which causes severe constriction in the chests and the breathing process. This is exactly what the verse says, thirteen centuries before man flies, as stated in the Qur’an. 🙂 So whoever God wants to guide, He opens his chest to Islam, and whoever He wants to lead astray, He makes his chest narrow and constricted, as if he were ascending into the sky. God punishes him by misleading him. The example of his condition when he hears the sermon and the related belief in Islam, and the severe distress that befalls him is like the example of one who ascends into the sky.
The many darknesses in the depths of the deep seas and the waves that cover them
Modern science has revealed that at the bottom of the deep, watery sea – the deep sea – there are intense darknesses, to the point that living creatures live in these darknesses without visual tools, but rather live using their other senses, such as hearing. These dark darknesses do not exist in the sea water that surrounds the Arabian Peninsula, but they discovered them in Oceans that are far away from it and have a lot of water – the deep sea. Scientists also discovered an internal sea wave covering the sea, which is longer and wider than the surface wave, and it was also detected by satellites. The Qur’anic verse says: “Or like the darknesses in a deep sea that are covered by a wave above it, a wave above which it is leveled.” A father of darkness One upon the other, when he took out his hand he could hardly see it. And for whomsoever God has not made light, he has no light. (40) [An-Nour: 40] So these darknesses were formed as a result of first the deep, deep sea, then the internal wave that reflects the rays of the sun’s light. It is not allowed to reach the bottom again Thirdly, the surface wave that reflects part of the rays, and the clouds that block much of the sun’s rays, not allowing them to penetrate below. Fourthly, they are darknesses, one on top of another, and their causes that create them are one on top of the other.
The sea wave and above it another wave
This verse shows another aspect of the Quranic miracle, which is that the sea wave that all people knew was only one wave in the seas. The above verse says that there is another wave in the depths of the seas, and divers at the beginning of the twentieth century discovered a truth that was hidden in the depths of the seas, that truth that Another wave appeared, throwing divers into it as well as swimming on it, and this wave was discovered by Scandinavian divers.
The first claim about this sea wave was documented at the end of World War II by military submarines that were used by the Allies, as the waves of the sonar devices used were reflected from them. Then its reality was revealed at the end of the twentieth century through modern research. The scholar Abdul Majeed Al-Zindani mentioned it in his book about the miracle (Oneness of the Creator).
The nature of mountains is like wedges in geology
The peg is planted in the sand to stabilize the tent. Likewise, the mountains, with their extensions, have penetrated the sticky layer that lies at the bottom of the rocky layer that forms the continents. Thus, for the continents, they have become like a peg for a tent. The peg stabilizes the tent with the part that is planted in the desert, and thus the mountains stabilize the continents with the part of it that is embedded in the sticky layer that lies Beneath the rocky layer that makes up the continents. Scientists confirmed this scientific fact in earth sciences in the year 1965, and they learned that if the mountains had not been created like pegs, the continents would have roamed. “And the mountains are pegs” [Al-Naba: 7], and the earth would move and shake under our feet. The Qur’an reminds us of this fact by saying: “And He cast into the earth firm mountains. (Surat An-Nahl: 15) He led you with rivers and paths that you may be guided. (Al-Nahl: 15) If He made the mountains like pegs so that the earth would not move against us, this is the best evidence of its movement. If they were stationary, the mountains would have no benefit. Then the word anchors that are used for ships, such as those that stabilize them when they are anchored, strengthen this meaning. .
Wind, pollination and rain
The Qur’an states: “And We send the fertilizing winds, and We send down water from the sky and give you to drink thereof, and you are not its storers. 22” [Al-Hijr: 22], and modern science has proven that the winds carry out the aerobic pollination of plants by transferring pollen to the female organs. In the flowers for fertilization and the formation of fruits, and the wind also raises the clouds By providing the air with the necessary moisture, and sending winds with different condensation nuclei helps the water vapor in the clouds to condense, and also helps the condensed water droplets in the clouds to grow further until they reach the mass that allows them to fall as rain.
The Earth’s rotation around itself
It is mentioned in the Qur’an that it says: “And you see the mountains and think that they are motionless while they pass by like the clouds, the work of God, who has perfected all things. Indeed, He is well aware of what you do.” [An-Naml: 88], which indicates that Mountains rotate quickly like clouds, but people see them as stable and steady, and there is a difference in meaning From the verse, where Ibn Uthaymeen said that the verse talks about the Day of Resurrection and not in this world.
The shining star

God Almighty swore by great stars, saying, “By the heavens and the One who strikes. 1 And how can you make you know what the One who strikes is the piercing star? 3” [At-Tariq: 1-3] It is believed that they are pulsating stars because they emit sounds like the sound of knocking. NASA scientists confirm that these stars emit pulsing or throbbing sounds.
There is a neutron star, called a pulsar, which is the remains of enormous suns (larger than our sun), with a high density during its annihilation phase, so it rotates very quickly. This pulsar is the concentrated core of a dying star, during the supernova phase (the explosion of the star’s outer layers). It emits electromagnetic radiation that continues until its final death time after 10-100 million years. It emits these radiations along the alignment of its magnetic axis resulting from its rotation, which is not its axis of rotation itself, which leads to seeing the radiation once in each cycle of this star. It gives the pulsating characteristic of this star (as in the picture), and it produces a sound due to the compression waves it creates in space. Just as this radiation has the ability to melt any cosmic body that falls in its path, it is also piercing. Professor Richard Rothschild from the University of California confirms that pulsars result from star explosions and emit huge amounts of radiation, which is considered the brightest and acts like a hammer. He says, “This explosion was similar to hitting a neutron star with a giant hammer, and this is what makes the star ring like a bell.” This researcher confirms that the light emitted by such explosions is very great. This star emitted in ten seconds what the sun emits in 150,000 years of light.
Corruption in the environment
The appearance of corruption that includes land and sea, and the Qur’an expressed this by saying: “Corruption has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of mankind have earned, so that they may taste some of what they have done so that they may return.” [Al-Rum: 41] and its description. With the past, because the Qur’an only speaks the truth, the future for God is reality An inevitable event as if it happened in the past and the matter was over, and therefore this scientific fact was expressed in the past verb. The verse also talked about who is responsible for this environmental corruption and identified the perpetrator, which is man, and talked about the possibility of returning to reason and logic and working to restore balance to the earth.
Spider
It is mentioned in the Qur’an that it says: “The likeness of those who have taken guardians other than Allah is like the likeness of a spider that has taken it as a house. And indeed, the weakest of houses is the house of a spider, if they were Lamun 41﴾ [Al-Ankabut: 41]
In it, spiders are treated as feminine, even though the word “spider” is masculine in the Arabic language. Modern science has discovered that the one who builds the spider’s house is only the female spider through a special spindle located at the end of her abdomen, and there is no such thing in the male. Also, God likened those who take guardians other than God to those who take a spider’s web as a refuge. Science has recently revealed the secret of that analogy, as the spider’s house is the furthest of houses from the description of a house, with the safety, tranquility, and reassurance necessary for a house. The female spider is the one who builds the house, spins its threads, and is the ruler of it. She kills the male after he fertilizes her and eats him. This is why the male tends to flee after he fertilizes his female and does not try to set foot in her house, and the children eat each other after emerging from the eggs. The female spider spins her house to be a trap and an ambush. It kills insects, and everyone who enters the house, whether visitors or guests, is killed and devoured. It is the weakest of homes for those who try to take refuge in it.
the crow
It is mentioned in the Qur’an that it says: “Then God sent a crow searching the earth to show him how to hide the likes of his brother. He said, ‘Oh, woe! I am unable to be like this crow.’” I saw the likeness of my brother and became one of those who regret. (31) [Al-Ma’idah: 31] It indicates that the crow specializes in concealing its crime, and scientific studies have proven that the crow It is the smartest and most cunning bird, and this is explained by the fact that the crow has the largest size of two hemispheres of the brain in relation to the size of the body of all known birds. Among the information proven by studies of the behavior of the animal world is the crow courts, in which the group prosecutes any individual who disobeys its system, and every crime among the crow group has its own punishment.
Botany
It was known to people in ancient times that masculinity and femininity only exist in humans and animals. As for plants, people did not know the truth about this matter except at the present time with botany, with the advancement of plant anatomy, while the Qur’an mentioned this in its saying: “Glory be to Him who created.” All pairs are of what the earth produces and of themselves and of what they do not know (36) [Yasin: 36] Just as people in ancient times were ignorant of the reality of plants and their composition, modern science has revealed that plants are composed of one basic substance: (carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulfur or phosphorus) and some Other trace materials. However, the reason for the difference in the percentage of chemical compositions in plants is due to the difference in the weight of the plant in each of them, and the root of each plant does not absorb materials in the earth except in specific balanced amounts. Thus, the Qur’an spoke to us about this scientific fact by saying: “And the earth We have extended.” And We cast therein firm mountains and caused to grow therein all things in balanced form. (19) [Al-Hijr: 19].
Superposition of love and fruits in plants and green pigment
In ancient times, people did not know how seeds and fruits were formed in plants. They were also ignorant of how the different parts of plants were formed. Scientists began studying botany and how plants form their grains and fruits. Perhaps we would be able to imitate this fact that is absent from our imagination. Then botanists discovered photosynthesis, or chlorophyll metabolism. They found that plants contain small green factories – chloroplasts – that give the plant its green color and from which the nutrients that make up grains, fruits, and all its parts emerge. After watering it with water, the plant emerges from its seeds in the ground, and these green plants are the first to emerge from the seed when it begins to grow, and as the verse in the Qur’an says: It is an overlapping grain and of palm trees Its growth is a nearby garden, and gardens of grapes, olives, and pomegranates, similar and not similar. Look at its fruit when it bears fruit, and its ripeness, indeed, in humiliation. How many signs are there for a people who believe? (99) the plant.
The positions of the stars in astrophysics and they are not what you see
Anyone who looks at the sky thinks that the stars are close, but scientific progress in astrophysical sciences has come to show us that the distances between the stars and their locations are very large and cannot be imagined or perceived by the human mind, and that these stars lost their light a long time ago, and some of them are light-years away. From Earth, some of which are several million light-years away. What we see in reality are their locations that they left in ancient times, and this fact remained unknown until the beginning of the twentieth century, when astronomical observatories showed the distance to these celestial bodies and the fact that we only see their locations that they left and these stars are moving into space at a great speed whose extent is not known as they shine. Its light emanates from around it, and it is as the verse said: “But I do not swear by the positions of the stars. 75 And indeed, it is a great oath, if only you knew. 76” [Al-Waqi’ah: 75-76].
The cold from above is like mountains in cumulus clouds
One of the advantages of cumulonimbus clouds is that they extend vertically to a height of fifteen kilometers or more, and thus appear to those who look at them from a distance like towering mountains. The opportunity to grow in the vertical direction allows the emergence of cumulus clouds across layers of the atmosphere whose temperatures differ significantly, thus creating vertical eddies and generating hailstones. Therefore, cumulonimbus clouds are the only ones capable of generating snowy hailstones, and this is a scientific fact in itself, which is explained by the verse: “Have you not seen?” God causes clouds to move, then brings them together, then makes them into cumulus, and you see rain coming out through them and descending from the sky from mountains in which there is hail, and it is struck by It is He whom He wills, and He turns it away from whom He wills. He is almost like a sharp tooth; His lightning takes away sight. 43} [An-Nur: 43] Thus, the first part of the verse defines the stages. Cumulus rain clouds form, although man has only recently discovered this fact. When scientists used radar in the aftermath of World War II, it became clear to them that clouds begin in the form of several cells or units of clouds that are stirred up by air currents. They unite and form cumulus clouds, and then grow. Vertical until they become like mountains, then they are more than other clouds filled with hail, and it is not necessary for the hail to fall from the cloud as soon as it forms, as the ascending air current may prevent it from descending in a certain place, so that if this current weakens, the hail descends in the form of relentless piles, as if The cloud exploded, and this explains to us what is meant by his saying: (So he afflicts with it whomever He wants and diverts it from whomever He wants.)
Nebulae and their formation in extragalactic astronomy
The truth about the expansion of the universe, and this appears in the Qur’an: “And the heaven We built it with hands, and indeed We are expanding” [Al-Dhariyat: 47] And in this verse there are two scientific miracles. The verse spoke about the reality of the universe: (And the heaven We built it). It has been proven that the universe is organized, and that the universe has amazing geometry. The universe contains columns of nebulae, bridges of galaxies, and also contains great threads, each thread consisting of thousands of galaxies and extending for hundreds of billions of light years.
Gravitational forces between stars and planets
It is mentioned in the Qur’an that He says: “It is Allah who raised the heavens without supports that you can see. Then He settled upon the Throne and subjected the sun and the moon, each running for an appointed time. He manages the matter in detail. The verses that you may be certain of the meeting with your Lord. 2) [Al-Ra’ad: 2] Cosmic studies indicate the existence of hidden forces, in the initial building blocks. Matter governs the structure of the universe and holds its edges. Among the forces that scientists have identified on both earth and heaven are four forms that are believed to be multiple aspects of one great force, spreading throughout various aspects of the universe. To tie it with a close bond, otherwise its knots will be broken. These forces are: (1) the strong nuclear force (2) the weak nuclear force (3) the electromagnetic force (4) the gravitational force. These four forces are the hidden pillars on which the universe is built, and scientists have recognized them through their apparent and hidden effects on all observable things in the universe.
In the short term, the force of gravity is considered the weakest force known to us, and is equal to: (10-39) of the strong nuclear force, but in the long term it becomes the greatest force in the universe, due to its cumulative nature, holding all the bodies of the sky, and their various concentrations. Were it not for this ruling bond, which God placed on the earth and in the bodies of the heavens, the earth would not exist, nor would the sky exist. If this bond were to be removed, the universe would be loose, and its components would collapse.
The height of the sky and the height of the earth
“And after that, He spread out the earth.” [Al-Nazi’at: 30] The meaning of “He spread” it is that He spread it out so that it would be suitable for man and plants. Among the meanings of “Adhiyah” is the place of the ostrich’s egg (i.e. in it, it flattened), and among the meanings of “Dahha” is: “rolled.” It appears that the Earth, when it separated, began to rotate and roll in its path, and it continues to roll and roll as it moves in its orbit. Is there a clearer explanation for this scientific fact other than the word “Dhaha”?
Moon phases
The phases and shapes of the moon, moving through known phases, and the distinction between sunlight and moonlight according to what has come to us in modern science. “And We have ordained the moon in stages until it returns like the ancient Arjun. 39” [Yasin: 39] Where this verse states the truth about the reason for the moon’s shape changing every month, which is its movement in known stations (positions) until it returns as a crescent as it began, and the Arjun is an expression of the shape of the curved crescent. “And He placed the moon within them as a light and made the sun a lamp” [Noah: 16] Where we find in this verse the distinction between the light of the moon and the sun, and thus all the verses of the Qur’an describe the sun as a luminous, glowing lamp, while the Qur’anic verses describe the moon as light. The difference is clear in the expression and indicates A clear scientific fact is that scientific progress has proven that the light of the sun comes from itself, so it is like a burning lamp, while the moon’s light is only a reflection from the sun, so it is not from itself, and it is illuminated by the light of the sun.
Sun flow
“And the sun runs to a resting place for it. That is the decree of the Mighty, the Knowing.” [Yasin: 38] Scientists in the last century believed that the sun is the center of the universe and that it is fixed in its size, mass, and location, and that everything moves around it, but the sun runs and moves.
“Indeed, We have sent Our messengers with clear proofs, and We sent down with them the Book and the Balance, so that the people may adhere to justice, and We sent down iron in it, a mighty force and Beneficial to people, and so that God may know who supports Him and His messengers in the unseen. Indeed, God is Powerful, Mighty. (25) [Al-Hadid: 25] Verse 25 of Surat Al-Hadid revealed many facts, including the sending down of iron from the sky from The path of meteorites falling to Earth.
Embryology and obstetrics
It is stated in Surah Al-Tariq: “He was created from flowing water, 6 emerging from between the backbone and the ribs 7” [Al-Tariq: 6-7], and in Surat Al-Hajj: “O people, if you are in doubt about the Resurrection. Indeed, We created you from dust, then from a drop of seed, then from a clot. Then from an embryo created and uncreated that We may make clear to you and confirm in the wombs what We will for an appointed time. Then We bring you forth as a child, then that you may reach adulthood. And among you is he who dies, and among you is he who is returned to the wretchedness of life, so that he will not know anything after knowledge, and you will see the earth lifeless. Then when We sent down to him The water stirred and stirred, and every pair of trees sprouted. Joyful 5) [Al-Hajj: 5] And in Surat Al-Mu’minun: “Then We made the sperm into a clot, then We made the clot a lump of flesh, then We made the lump of lump into bones, then We covered the bones with flesh. He chose another creation, so blessed be God, the best of creators. (14) [Al-Mu’minun: 14].
Prohibition of dead animals, blood, and pork
The Qur’an forbade pork, and religious people implemented it in compliance with the command of God, the Creator of mankind, and in obedience to Him without discussing the reason for the prohibition. Scientists in our present era have found sufficient scientific evidence of the presence of diseases in pig meat to recommend abandoning its consumption or reducing it according to the diseases they found. In it, and some wonder why pigs are not raised in a clean, healthy manner, and why means are not taken to discover infected meat and destroy it, and if that is possible in a specific place and circumstances, can it be achieved in all circumstances, or is it not better not to take risks and avoid dangers, but rather the truth is that all of these means It was not actually useful at any time or place.
Opposition
On the other hand, there are a number of scholars who oppose the idea of a scientific miracle in the Qur’an, saying that it is not a book of sciences. Among the most prominent of those who said this is Abu al-Rayhan al-Biruni, who placed the Qur’an in a classification of its own, and said that it “does not interfere in the affairs of science or mix with it.” One of the reasons that made Al-Biruni and other scholars of his time, and those who followed them, say that there is no scientific miracle in the Qur’an, is the existence of several scientific explanations for a single natural phenomenon. Science is always changing and theories are always changed and refuted, so it is not possible to say that one of them is correct over time. Many researchers and scholars consider that the scientific miracle is nothing but a linguistic miracle that has no connection to science and is classified as a pseudoscience. A number of scholars and specialized scientific magazines also included the scientific miracle in the Qur’an as a pseudoscience, as they consider it an approach that contradicts the scientific methodology. The movement to link religion with modern science, followed by a number of writers on scientific miracles, has also been widely criticized by Western scholars and researchers, who consider this methodology to be subjective and unscientific. It also denied some miracles that Muslims consider scientific miracles, such as the splitting of the moon. Astronomers also deny the existence of scientific evidence that a split occurred in the moon. Maurice Bucaille’s book and approach were also widely criticized by Western scholars and researchers, who considered the book to be subjective and unscientific. On the other hand, Skabtec magazine, which specializes in teaching science, and other scientific magazines included what is related to miracles and miracles stipulated in beliefs and what contradicts the scientific methodology as pseudoscience.
Scholars and researchers have criticized the Qur’anic texts about the creation of the universe and the earth, the origins of human life, biology, earth sciences, etc., as containing fallacies, being unscientific, and potentially contradicting well-developed scientific theories. Many scholars have said that the Qur’an lacks clarity despite describing itself as a clear book.
Cash
The scientific community views miracles as a form of fallacy and religious promotion, not much different from pseudoscience. Vitaly Ginzburg says in his book “About Science, Myself and Others”:
“For me, religion (which believes in miracles) and pseudoscience (such as astrology) are similar.”
On the other hand, some interpretation scholars stand in a neutral role and are unable to confirm the legitimacy of miraculous sciences or deny their legitimacy, while others categorically refuse to accept this type of science and see that many methods of research into the scientific miracles in the Qur’an are nothing but a kind of religious promotion that falls within Within the framework of pseudoscience. Among the most prominent Arab scholars who stood against the idea of scientific miracles were the Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Mahmoud Shaltout, and Aisha Abdel Rahman. Many Arab and Muslim scholars during the Islamic civilization – some of whom were called heretics and others were considered infidels – rejected the idea of linking abstract sciences with what may be found in the Qur’anic texts. Examples that researchers of the scientific miracle are unable to respond to and are sometimes forbidden to decide upon are: the story of creation, the six days, the throne, and the water. Scientifically, the Qur’anic verses that talked about this story do not agree at all with modern scientific theories, which the miraculous jurists tried to infer that the Qur’an preceded them. It is worth noting that this story was also mentioned in previous religious books. For example, the Qur’an says: “Indeed, your Lord is God, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then settled upon the Throne. The moon and the stars are subjected to His command. Indeed, to Him belongs the creation and the command. Blessed is God, Lord of the worlds. 54 (Surat Al-A’raf: 54).
The Qur’an – and the heavenly books – talk about the period during which the creation process took place, estimated in days. If the commentators try to attribute it to the earthly day, it is known that the earth was not yet created to be a time scale. If interpreters try to adopt modern measurement systems by which the age of the universe is estimated, they will also notice a big difference, as it took the universe more than 13 billion years to reach the present day. Water and the Throne, as is evident from the Qur’anic verse, existed before creation, and this completely contradicts the scientific explanation for the existence of water as a chemical compound that arose millions of years after the beginning of the explosion. The Qur’an says: “Say, ‘Indeed, do you disbelieve in Him who created the earth in two days and make equals to Him? This is the Lord of the worlds.’ 9 And He has placed therein mountains above them; He blessed it and ordained its sustenance in four days, equal to those who ask. 10 Then He turned to the sky while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, “Come.” Either by force or by force, they said, “We come.” Obedient 11 So He divided them into seven heavens in two days, and revealed in each heaven its command, and We adorned the lowest heaven with lamps, and preserved that. Lim 12 And if they turn away, then say, “I warn you of a thunderbolt like the thunderbolt of Ad and Thamud 13 When the messengers came to them from before them and behind them, declaring that you should worship none but God.” They said: If our Lord had willed, He could have sent down angels Indeed, we disbelieve in that with which you were sent. 14 As for Aad, they were arrogant on earth unjustly and said, “Who is stronger than us in strength? They were amazed at what they were doing, 20 and they said to their faces, “Why did you testify against us?” They said, “We have spoken to God, who spoke all things, and He created you the first time, and to Him you will be returned.” 21 And you were not concealing it, lest your hearing should bear witness against you. Your eyesight and your skins, but you thought that God did not know much of what you did (22) [Fussilat: 9-22].
Of course, the last verses raised some questions about the contradiction in the calculated number, whether it was 6 days or 8. Most commentators believed that it was six days, more reliable than two days in four days when calculating the last verses. On the other hand, it is noted that most of the topics of scientific miracles are attempts to link modern discoveries with what may be similar to Quranic verses to the point of reinterpreting verses in a radically different way than they were in the interpretation of previous books such as the interpretation of Ibn Kathir and others.
Other religious scholars agree that the reason behind the emergence of this field of interpretation is due to the Islamic world discovering the overwhelming gap between itself and the West in the field of science in particular, so a return was made to the Qur’an as a means of restoring self-confidence and compensating for the scientific backwardness of Muslims. Most Western historians consider these miracles, such as the miracle of the splitting of the moon, to be unreliable, arguing that the Qur’an itself denies the occurrence of miracles. Astronomers also deny the existence of scientific evidence that a split occurred in the moon.
Studies and research
In February 2017, Stephanie Bigliari conducted a study on claims of scientific miracles in the Qur’an, concluding that claims of miracles are nothing more than a mixture of pseudoscience claims and conspiracy theories, which may do more harm than good to those who hold beliefs.
Al-Zindani’s meeting with scholars
It was later revealed that many of the interviews that Sheikh Al-Zindani conducted with Western scholars were either incorrect or inaccurate, as he was quoting the sayings of scholars in non-scientific places in order to link them to what the Qur’an stipulates, as happened with every story of the torment of the grave, which turned out to be a fabricated story that Al-Zindani was exposed to in The nineties to demonstrate the lack of credibility of what he narrates in public, and the story of his meeting with NASA scientist Professor Tom Armstrong, which shows Al-Zindani’s misuse of Armstrong’s speeches. The same deception happened with another scientist called Professor Palmer, a third scientist called Alfred, and a fourth scientist named William Hay, during a discussion of various topics in the Big Bang, black holes, the speed of light, galaxies, and the formation of iron.
Hamza Tzortzes
This Islamic preacher says that it is not necessary to immediately link Qur’anic verses with scientific information because science is variable and the Book of God is fixed, but at the same time he does not deny the description of fetuses in the Qur’an or the historical evidence in it, and a clip of him interrupting the book on scientific miracles spread, and it later became clear that it is merely an announcement of his Islamic program. When the Qur’an speaks that the heavens and the earth were connected and then separated, this is a clear scientific error, since if we consider what is meant by the heavens as what our current universe consists of, then the earth and the heavens are still one component until this moment and it is not possible to say in any way about their connection or separation. It is like looking at the sky from the Earth and seeing the moon, or looking at the sky from the moon and seeing the Earth.
The belief that the process of separation from the mixture occurred at the same time is also wrong if what is meant is the formation of the Earth, as the process of the formation of the universe went through billions of years of cosmic dust, atoms, and nebulae until it was the Earth’s turn to form after that.

He says in his introduction entitled: The scientific miracle in the Qur’an is an illusion created by the inferiority complex among Muslims. Parvez Amirali Hoodboy, professor of physics at Pakistan’s Kadidi Azm University in Islamabad, explains that one of the most important reasons for the decline in the Islamic world’s contribution to scientific achievements is the focus of Muslim scholars on researching religion, worship, prayer, and Sharia, and moving away from researching modern sciences. The professor says in his book Islam and Science: Religious Orthodoxy and a Rational Battle that Muslims must understand the truth that the Holy Qur’an is a religious method and not a scientific method, and he explained how the state and those in charge of it may participate in promoting in good faith what may be called a scientific miracle in the Qur’an, thus distorting its greatness. . Some miracles that Muslims consider a scientific miracle, such as the splitting of the moon, were also denied, and most Western historians consider these miracles to be unreliable. But in June 2010, a person asked a question about the splitting of the moon on the website of the American Space Agency (NASA), saying: You answered this question previously in August 2009, but I would like to go into more details. It was mentioned on one of the websites that God split the moon into two parts at the request of the Prophet Muhammad, and that there are cracks on the moon documented by American scientists, which is evidence of the miracle. Is there any truth to any of these claims?
NASA responded to Brad Bailey (Deputy Director of the NASA Astrobiology Institute), who said: My recommendation is not to believe everything you read on the Internet. Peer-reviewed papers are the only scientifically valid sources of information available. There is no current scientific evidence to suggest that the Moon split into two (or more) parts and then reassembled at any time in the past.
As for the NASA archives, it published a photo with the code (AS17-3128) taken by the Apollo 11 mission in 1969, in which one of the lunar cracks or (lunar grooves) appears. NASA comments on this image and states that this groove is part of a fissure 300 km long. While the agency does not provide a clear scientific explanation for the appearance of this fissure, which it described as controversial, the agency says:
Salafist opinion
Salafist scholars and thinkers were divided between two groups behind which the street believing in Islamic Salafism fell. Some of them supported the scientific discoveries in the Qur’an and even the Sunnah of the Prophet that were stipulated by contemporary scholars and which were difficult to discover or recover in ancient times. Among them were those who opposed this link between the natural sciences and the Qur’anic sciences, with doubts. In their opinion, these discoveries are because they were made by humans, and humans often make many mistakes in their nature, which makes them incompatible with the Qur’an revealed from God, which opens doubt and challenge to Islam.

“I know that these sayings are gossip, illusions, and words about the Qur’an without knowledge. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever says about the Qur’an according to his opinion, let him take his seat in Hell.” He also said, “Whoever says about the Qur’an according to his opinion and is correct has made a mistake. For that reason, the predecessors used to dwell on what they did not know, because saying without knowledge is a great sin whose punishment is It is worse than polytheism, as the Qur’an was sent down to be recited and acted upon, not to apply mathematical operations to it, nor to know future events by it, for the unseen is known only to God.”
Saleh Al-Fawzan was also asked and said:
“The interpretation of the Qur’an is precise and precise, and it has methods mentioned by the imams of interpretation. It cannot be interpreted in any other way. The Qur’an is interpreted according to the Qur’an, the Sunnah, the sayings of the Companions and Followers, and the language in which it was revealed. These are the aspects of interpretation. However, whoever adds to this comes with something innovative that has no basis, and it is not permissible to interpret the Qur’an by opinion.”
Some jurists said about the facts that equate mentioning this world and the afterlife, or angels and devils, and these examples and the like are not among what falls within the category of miraculous things that cannot be accomplished, as they are in fact numerical phenomena in the Qur’an and are not a miraculous matter.
Defenders
On the other hand, supporters of this science said that there are many things that have come together and formed a barrier against the numerical miracle, and among these things are: Many books on numerical interpretation are not based on a scientific basis, and therefore it is easy to criticize them. The incident of Rashad Khalifa and his Baha’i heresy, in which he exploited the Qur’anic numbers for his own purpose, has left a great impact on this science. Scholars of the Qur’an have two standards: a linguistic standard and a numerical standard. We find any deficiency, flaw, or difference in the language and eloquence of the Qur’an from beginning to end, and at the same time, no matter how much we search in this great book, we will not find any difference in terms of numbers, as it is a precise book linguistically and numerically. As for trying to imitate the Qur’an, or that the numbers and correspondences are different matters. A miracle. If someone tries to imitate the Qur’an digitally, this will disrupt the linguistic aspect and vice versa. No one will be able, no matter how hard he tries, to come up with words that are eloquent, balanced, and at the same time organized from the digital aspect. Incompleteness and differences will remain in human speech, and this is a divine law that no one will be able to overcome.

“The Qur’an has preserved many verses for future generations in phrases with known wording, but the manners and facts do not become clear except for a while afterward. The Lord says: “It is nothing but a reminder to the worlds. 87 And you will know his information after a while.” [Page 87-88] For every piece of information in the Qur’an has a time. Ibn Kathir quoted Ibn Abbas as an interpretation of al-Mustaqab by saying: Every piece of news has a truth, meaning every piece of news happens, even after a while.
Ibn Hajar said: The miracle of the Qur’an will continue until the Day of Resurrection, and no era will pass without something appearing in it of what it was told that would be evidence of the validity of its claim. This time is the most appropriate time for this new miracle, as God said in the Qur’an: “I will show you My signs, so do not be hasty.” 37 (Al-Anbiya’: 37).
